LSQP Studio Safety Protocols

Based on recent CDC and City of Chicago recommendations, we are updating our studio safety procedures. These changes will go into effect on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

We will continue to maintain the health and safety of our community as our highest priority. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or comments at any time.

SErvices, SchedulING, AND STUDIO FLOW Updates

  • Group classes of 8 or fewer students, private sessions, and duet sessions will be offered. 

  • Hands-on adjustments will be provided to clients who are comfortable with it.

Updated GUidelines for CLIENTs

  • Masks are not required, but are welcomed.

  • Clients should continue to monitor themselves using the health screen questionnaire. If the answer to any of these questions is “yes”, please contact the studio or instructor to cancel. This self-screening questionnaire and a contactless thermometer will also be available for use in the studio if needed. Sessions canceled due to health concerns will be credited in full to your account with no penalty.

    • Have you had a body temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit or have you used a fever reducer in the previous 24 hours to treat a body temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit?

    • Do you have a new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition

    • Do you have a new or worsening sore throat that you cannot attribute to another health condition?

    • Do you have new shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to another health condition?

    • Have you recently developed a complete loss of smell or taste?

  • Clients are encouraged to sanitize hands upon entrance to the studio. Sanitizer will be provided throughout the studio. Clients are also encouraged to wash hands before and after a session. Disposable gloves will be provided in studio for use by clients, if desired.

  • Equipment clients will be provided with antibacterial cleaning products to thoroughly sanitize all equipment used during their class.

EQUIPment, props, and sanitation

  • Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be provided in multiple locations throughout the studio for additional sanitizing as clients see fit.

  • HEPA filter air purifiers are installed in the floor, equipment and private studios, completely filtering room air to effectively lower virus, bacteria, and particle levels.

GUIDELINES FOR INSTRUCTORS

  • All instructors, regardless of vaccination status, are not required to wear a mask in the studio.

  • Instructors should continue to monitor themselves using the health screen questionnaire. If the answer to any of these questions is “yes”, instructors will be required to let studio management know and will be required to cancel their shift. Instructors will not be penalized financially for canceled shifts due to health concerns.
