Announcing the LSQP Community Advisory Council

As shared in our blog post in February 2020, “Deepening Our Mission Commitment with Explicit LSQP Antiracism & Inclusion Goals,” our team is committed to ensuring that Logan Square Pilates is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all people. In an effort to learn directly from our community members and identify opportunities for positive change, we are launching the LSQP Community Advisory Council.

The LSQP Community Advisory Council will bring together a group of LSQP community members to examine issues, identify opportunities, get input and feedback on initiatives, and otherwise inform and advance our antiracism, equity, and inclusion efforts. We are specifically seeking participation from people from underrepresented groups – including Black, Latinx, Asian, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized and minoritized groups as well as people of all shapes, sizes, and ages - within the LSQP student community and the broader Logan Square community. We will bring humility, a sense of responsibility, and an action orientation to these discussions.

We invite members of our community to complete a brief application form to be considered for an appointment to our advisory council.
